In December 2019, McEachin declared, "The president has breached his oath of office and through his deeds, displayed full disrespect and disdain for our Constitution.

In order to further his personal and political goals, President Trump "abused the power of his office to solicit foreign involvement in the 2020 presidential election, risking the national security of the United States."
