Barbeque Pride is one of the best and few BBQ restaurants in the city. Situated at the 3rd floor of the Rangoli Bldg. on Rd. no. 36 in Jubilee Hills, it is located at a prime spot.
Coming out from the elevator you are struck by a wonderful wall mural right beside the entrance to the restaurant, and a reception desk to the right for your welcome. Stepping in, you are greeted by the warm welcoming ambience of the interiors and the aroma of food that stimulate your senses and make you crave the delicious spread of dishes.
The interiors are extensive in wood with cream colored fabric and paint, combined with warm white lights that really make the place pleasant and attractive. The buffet counter is right in the middle of the back wall, accessible from all sides where different styles of tables and seating areas are set. Planned very spaciously, leaving you a lot of room to move around. Also a semi-private zone with glass walls for meetings or private dinners.
Well, that’s enough about the décor. Now let’s get on to the food. It’s BBQ, so every table is equipped with a stand where live BBQ is done, which you can work on yourself. An amazing variety of items is available including paneer, pineapple, corn in veg and chicken, prawns, fish in non-veg along with some more items. The most amazing thing is that you can customize the level of spice you want once having tried the default mix. The special from the Chef that is not usually served were the BBQ Gulab Jamuns. A unique approach that is one of a kind and man how can we describe it! Just yumm!
Amongst the various drinks, the classic Virgin Mojito, Masala Cola, Blue Angel from Mocktails and Chocolate Monk and Habiba from the smoothies, all of them exquisite in their taste having an altogether different uniqueness about themselves.
The Chicken Wings and Chicken Thighs are absolutely delicious in their taste and something you don’t really find in a lot of places. Fish fingers are a treat for crunch lovers, fish flavoured with savoury spices and coated with bread crumbs. At the live pizza counter Chicken, Veg or Prawns are the available items that are surely small and cute, but really delicious topped with melting cheese.
Slab ice-cream among the various desserts is topped with berries and choco-chips is just yumm! You surely can’t get enough of it. Other items they provide are Jalebi and kids’ favorite cotton candy.
A very interactive, polite and friendly crew is sure to really up your eating experience. Mr. Prashant Kumar is the Chief Chef whom we had the privilege to meet. He explained to us every dish in detail.
Barbecue Pride is a must go for all food lovers specially those who like BBQ. You are sure to get your taste buds tingling and craving for more.
